Tonkin

Tonkin is a crimped thread containing a fine lurex strand. It is made of textured polyester giving it a slightly puffy aspect. Unlike other threads containing metal, it doesn’t fray when stitching, making it extremely pleasant to use.

Originally, Tonkin threads were produced for professional Haute Couture embroiderers.
Available in 24 colors, this polyester thread contains a fine strand of gold lurex which gives it a beautiful sparkle.

100% polyester, 4 strands.
