All thread cards and organizers are printed on heavy board and bear the names of towns in Normandy which was the linen producing region of France. The organizer has sixteen holes so you can sort out your threads by color before starting to embroider, cross stitch, or needlepoint. The back is simpler so you can note your thread references. This model represents floral motifs inspired by 19th century wallpapers.
